The use of any electric appliance involves the observance of some basic rules, in
particular:
1. Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
2. Do not use the appliance while barefoot.
3. Do not use extension leads in bathrooms other than with the utmost cautions.
4. Do not pull the supply cable or the appliance to weather agents like rain, sunshine etc.
5. Appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Cleaning and user maintenance made by children is not allowed without supervision.
Children being supervised not to play with appliance.
The device can't be used if the flap is damaged because the source of light is dangerous for eyes
and skin.
Before replacing the bulb disconnect the plug from socket. Replace the bulb with one of same
type (9 watt fitting G23 UV- C type 4).
Disconnect the appliance before cleaning or doing maintenance work by turning off the
main switch and removing the plug from the socket. Clear the sterilizer using only
cloths imbued with alcohol or impact other detergents could penetrate into the sterilizer.
Should the appliance be out of order or not working properly disconnect it and do not touch it,
for any repairs apply to authorised personals only and ensure that only new and original spare
parts are used.
Non observance may compromise the safety of the appliance.
Whenever you wish to stop using electrical appliance, we recommend that the supply
cable is cut after disconnecting the plug from the socket.
Do not disperse the plug and the appliance in nature.
In order to avoid the risk of overheating we recommend that the full length of the cable is
unwound.
Do not leave the appliance connected unnecessarily. Always unplug the appliance when
not in use.
Do not obstruct ventilation opening or air vents.
Should the supply cable be damaged, replace it at once in accordance with the
indications wrote on the label.
Caution when using the sterilizer near baths, washbasins or anything else containing water.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replace by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard

For extra protection install a line fault protection switch with nominal break non
higher than 30 mA. Contact an electrician for details.
