1.
Place the processing bowl on the motor base by lining up the handle on the
processing bowl with the "Align Handle" position on the motor base. Turn the
bowl clockwise to lock in place. Note: The processing bowl must be locked in
place for the appliance to operate.
2.
Insert the disc/blade support in the center of the processing bowl over the shaft.
Be sure the disc/blade support is firmly in place and positioned all the way down
on the shaft.
3.
Select the desired blade or disc and slide over the disc blade support in the
processing bowl.
4.
Put the processor lid on the processing bowl, lining up the locking mechanism
tab behind the processing bowl handle. Turn the processing lid clockwise until
the lid locks in place. The food processor will not start until the processor lid is
locked into position. CAUTION: Always wait until the blades have stopped
turning before removing the processor lid and adding or removing food.
5.
Plug cord into a 120-volt, AC electrical outlet ONLY.
6.
Turn the control dial to the desired speed.
•
If the appliance is turned on but doesn't start, make sure it is plugged in and the
processing bowl and lid are properly locked in place. The blue LED light ring will
illuminate when this has been assembled correctly. If the blades will not spin,
unplug the appliance and reassemble the food processor following all of the
assembly steps. CAUTION: Always unplug the appliance from the electrical
outlet before placing hands in the processing bowl.
•
For pulse-chopping, turn the control dial to "ON" and repeatedly press and
release the "PULSE" button until the ingredients reach the desired consistency.
Note: For best results, allow enough time between pulses for the food to fall to
the bottom of the processing bowl.
