6.3. External power supply mode
The WTU-M9800 module has 2 power supply modes.
One is the internal 24V mode which is supplied from the power supply of the equipment, and other one is the
external mode which is supplied from an optional AC adapter.
Move the jumper to select the correct power mode as shown below.
Internal power supply mode
When using up to two WTU-M9800 in the same frame, the frame's internal power supply may be used.
When using three or more WTU-M9800 in the same frame, each unit must be externally powered.
Note: a WD-5800 antennal distributor will consolidate antennas and power supplies for easier installation.

6.4. Contact output
The WTU-M9800 module features a no-voltage contact closure output, which can be used to control external
equipment.
The contact output is enabled when a tuner senses that its transmitter is powered on. There is a one second delay
between the microphone turning off and the contact closure opens.

with the WTU-M9800.
