Release fixed knife (6) and use setscrew (9) to
adjust the spacing advised. Use feeler gauge to
recheck the spacing.
Tighten both knife and nut (10) of setscrew (9)
tightly.
ATTENTION! Knives must not touch, make sure
there is a minimum space between them!
Adjustment of knives height
Check adjustment of knives regularly. If, in some
cases, the height of mobile knife needs to be
adjusted, proceed as follows:
Push the pan (3) in the upper dead centre.
Most favourable quality of shear is achieved
with 0–0.3 mm spacing.

Using a socket wrench screw the adjusting screw
in (5). Release the screw (8). Adjust the knives
so that the perpendicular distance between the
upper and bottom knife was 0–0.3 mm.
Tighten the screw (8). Using the socket wrench
unscrew the bolt against the knife.

be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.

Do not dispose of power tools
into household waste!
According to the European Directive
2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic
equipment and its incorporation into national
law, power tools that are no longer suitable for
use must be separately collected and sent for
recovery in an environmental-friendly manner.
Storage
The unit should be stored in a dry place where it
is protected against freezing.

Maintenance
� Air vents of engine cover must not get plugged.
� Cable may only be replaced in a professional
electric shop, which is authorized to carry out
works of such nature.
� Review the length of brushes after ca
100 hours of operation. Any brushes shorter
than 5 mm should be replaced for new ones.
� After approx. 200 hours of operation you
should exchange the lubrication oil.
To preserve the respective protection
class, the machine must be checked in
terms of safety, therefore these works
need to be performed in a professional
electric shop, which is authorized to carry
out works of such nature.

Guarantee
Our equipment is under warranty for at least
12 months with regard to material or production
faults in accordance with national legislation. In
the EU countries, the warranty period for ex-
clusively private use is 24 months (an invoice or
delivery note is required as proof of purchase).
Damage resulting from, in particular, normal
wear and tear, overloading, improper handling,
or caused by the user or other damage caused
by not following the operating instructions, or
any fault acknowledged at the time of purchase,
is not covered by the warranty. Complaints will
only be acknowledged if the equipment has not
been dismantled before being sent back to the
suppliers or to an authorised NAREX customer
support workshop. Store the operating instruc-
tions, safety notes, spare parts list and proof of
purchase in a safe place. In addition, the manu-
facturer's current warranty conditions apply.
