1.
Remove the battery earth cable.
Remove the floor covering in the boot.
Remove the spare wheel.
Remove the covering at the left-hand side in the boot.
Remove the sill plates at the left-hand side in the vehicle.
Remove the bottom cover under the steering wheel.
Remove the front part of the fuse unit in the fuse box, which is located at the left-hand side under the dashboard.

Drill a 13 mm large hole in the center of the back side of the spare wheel housing.
Carefully remove all metal particles and treat the edges with anti-rust paint.
Put the grommet in the hole.
3.
Route the wiring harness in the boot.
Lead the 8-pole end through the grommet to the socket.
Pull the rubber coverplate over the wiring harness.
Remove the contactholder from the socket and fit the wires as indicated:
Trailer lighting:
Left turn signal
Rearfoglight
Earth
Right turn signal
Right taillight
Brakelights
Left taillight
Rearfoglight
Mount the socket to the towbar.

Fit the white wire under the left rearlight to chassis earth.
5.
Connecting the rearfoglight:
The grey and blue wire are connected to the original wires of the left rear-
light.
Cut the grey wire in the wire bundle and connect the blue and grey wire
as indicated in picture 1.
6.
Lead the other part of the wiring harness along the left side of the vehicle
to the dashboard.
