The water inlet and outlet are marked: the
inlet is for cold water (blue) and the outlet is
for hot water (red).
It is advisable to install the appliance close
to a hot water intake to avoid heat
loss due to the overly long pipes and close
to wastewater pipes to help with emptying
the tank.
3.4 Supplied with the electric wa-
ter heater as standard
The dielectric unions must be used for the
warranty to apply. Without them, the useful
life of the tank is reduced and the appliance
is not covered by the warranty as this is
considered poor installation.

3.5 Safety valve
The safety valve supplied with the appliance
must be installed. The pressure range of
the safety value must be 0.75 Mpa (7.5 bar).
When installing, a wastewater pipe must be
inserted in the valve hole which may drip in
case of excess pressure and thus vacate the
7
pressure inside the tank. Make sure that
6
the pipes are not obstructed to avoid excess
pressure.

– Install the safety valve on the cold water
inlet, marked by a blue ring, in the lower
part of the water heater.
Fig. 18
– The valve must be operated regularly
to avoid the accumulation of limescale
which may cause it to become blocked.
– The water heater is drained by means of
the lever on the safety valve.
– The water will trickle from the wastewa-
ter pipe of the safety valve so it must re-
main open to the atmosphere or must be
installed with a continuous slope avoiding
bends and free from any freezing tem-
peratures.
– Connect the hose to the safety valve.
Make sure that the pressure of the wa-
ter supplied does not exceed 3 bar. If the
pressure is greater, there is a risk that
the valve will leak water when the water
heater is working so a pressure-reducing
valve will need to be installed ("Fig. 19").
– Connect the other hose to the hot water
outlet, marked by a red ring.
