Using Your Tortilla/Flatbread:
WARNING: Handle and Parts may become hot during Preheat/Cooking process, please use
an oven-mitt for protection. IMPORTANT NOTE: During operation gently press down on the
handle to press dough. Excessive force may result in damage to the handle and/or unit. Any
damage or breakage due to excessive force is not covered under Brentwood's Warranty.
1. You can lightly coat your Tortilla/Flatbread maker with some vegetable oil using a pastry
brush.
2. Form your Tortilla/ Flatbread dough into ½ to 2-inch balls. Pat them using your fingers to
lightly flatten the dough ball into a patty. Place the dough patty on the Bottom Cooking
plate slightly rear of the center.

3. Use the top handles to close the Top Cooking Lid. Move the Pressing Handle towards the
Temperature Control Dial and gently press down to flatten the dough.
Note: If you over flatten the dough, it can break apart. Make your dough slightly moist.
Note: Max Non-Stick Surface Temperature is about 446°F.
