Teppanyaki grill Use instructions
When used in closed environments, we recommend that these be
suitably aired or the use of an extraction fan.
Never place the appliance on or near to sources of heat, electrical
elements or in a heated oven. Do not place it on other appliances.
Keep a careful watch over the appliance when used in the presence
of children.
In the event that you decide to dispose of the appliance, we advise
you to make it inoperative by cutting off the power cord. We also re-
commend that any parts that could be dangerous be rendered harm-
less, especially for children, who may play with the appliance or its
parts.
Packaging must never be left within the reach of children since it is
potentially dangerous.
This appliance conforms to the eec 89/336 directive concerning elec-
tromagnetic compatibility.

Instructions for use
Before using for the first time, wash the plate and drip tray with warm water and a mild detergent.
Dry thoroughly.
Place the drip tray under the shaped base. To make cleaning easier, cover the tray with aluminium
foil to collect fat and cooking juices.
Insert the thermostat into the socket on the plate.
Make sure that the power voltage of the appliance corresponds to that of the mains power system. Then plug in
the power cord.
Set the control thermostat dial to the required heat setting .
For easier use, the following table shows the different settings.
The thermostat warning light, indicates that the grill is heating. The warning light will stay lit until the grill reaches
the set temperature.
When the thermostat warning light switches off, it means that the grill has reached the required cooking tempe-
rature and is ready for use.
Pre-heating times depend on the heat selected. Higher temperatures require longer pre-heating times.
Cleaning and maintenance
Before cleaning the appliance, always unplug it from the mains power first and wait for it to cool.
The shaped base, non-stick plate and drip tray can all be washed in lukewarm water and soap, or in the top part
of the dishwasher
Never place the thermostat or the power cord and plug (3) in water or other liquids.
