OVERVIEW
1
PRE AMP
1. SENSITIVITY SWITCH
Determines the sensitivity of the input.
Pressed = LINE, UnPressed = MIC.
2. GAIN
Determines the amount of gain, and therefore
volume, on the Input channel.
3. PHASE REVERSE
Reverses the phase of the input signal by
180degs
4. +48v PHANTOM POWER
Supplies +48v Phantom Power to the balanced
XLR input.
5. CLIP LED
LED will light if the input signal is too high and
likely to cause clipping or distortion.
LOW CUT FILTER
6. LOW CUT FREQUENCY
Determine the frequency at which the Low-cut
filter is active.
7. LOW CUT ENABLE
Enable or disable the Low-Cut Filter.

EXPANDER / GATE
8. EXPANDER/GATE TRIGGER
This control determines the threshold below
which expansion sets in, so that signals below
threshold are reduced in gain. The setting
range is from OFF to +10dB.
9. EXPANDER/GATE DISPLAY
If a signal below the adjusted value is applied,
the left red LED (expansion on) lights up. If the
signal gain is above the adjusted value, the
right white LED lights up.
10. EXPANDER/GATE DISPLAY RELEASE SWITCH
WITH LED
To adapt the expander/gate optimally to the
program material, use this switch to select a
short or long release time. Percussive material
with little or no reverb at all is usually processed
with a short release time (switch not pressed).
The long release time is the best choice for
slowly decaying or heavily reverberated signals
(switch pressed).
11. EXPANDER/GATE MODE SWITCH WITH LED
This switch toggles between the expander
function (switch not pressed) and the gate
function (switch pressed). Use the gate function
to mute signals below threshold (e.g. noise).
