WARNING
- TURN OFF All power source switches.

NOTE:
-
According to the procedure,remove the drain pan before
mounting the optional duct adapter to the unit body. If
not,drain pan will break when cutting the unit body and also
it may cause water leakage.
Remove the electrical box, bell-mouth and drain pan before
mounting the indoor unit.
Procedure

A Removing Electrical Box
Remove the electrical box as follows:
1) The electrical box can be seen when opening the suction air
grille. Remove 3 screws at the electrical box cover.

2) Remove the electrical box cover and disconnect the
connectors for drain pump (PCN6), float switch (CN14), auto
louver (CN17), fan motor (PCN203, CN201), expansion
valve (CN11), liquid pipe thermistor (THM3), gas pipe
thermistor (THM5) and discharge thermistor (THM2) from
PCB. Remove 3 screws at the electrical box.

2) Mount duct adapter referring to the item "In case of RCI-1.0~5.0"
3) After mounting the duct adapter, perform the procedure above in a reverse order.

NOTE:
- Tightening torque of the band for flexible duct (field-supplied) is 1.5 N.m. If tightening torque is not applicable, flexible duct may
fall or flexible adapter may be deformed or crack.

B Removing Bell-mouth
1) Remove 3 screws at the bell-mouth.

C Removing Drain Pan
1) Remove 2 screws (B) at the wiring clamp plate.
2) Remove 4 srews (A) at the drain pan.
Pull the drain pan downward from the body an remove it.
