NB If the bowl or any other container is placed on the plate BEFORE switching on the scale, the scale
automatically excludes this weight.
Negative tare
The tare weight is displayed as a negative number when all the weight (including the container) is removed
from the scale. Press the TARE/ON/OFF button again to reset the scale.
ON/OFF
To switch the scale on or off press the TARE/ON/OFF touch-sensitive button and keep it pressed for about
2 seconds.
Auto-off
The scale automatically switches off if it is not used for about one minute.

Overload indicator

When the scale is overloaded (over 10kg), the display will show
Immediately remove the excess weight in order to avoid damaging the scale.

Low battery indicator

When the display shows the word "Lo", it means that the batteries are low. The supplied batteries are for
trial use only and they may have a shorter life.
Replacing the batteries. Open the battery compartment cover located on the underside of the scale.
Remove the old batteries and insert four 1.5V AAA batteries, in the direction shown.
Replace the compartment cover.
