- Never place the appliance, the power cord or
the plug in water or in any other liquid.
- Do not allow the power cord to hang down
within reach of children.
- The power cord must never be close to or in
contact with the hot parts of your appliance,
close to a source of heat or resting on sharp
edges.
- The power cord cannot be replaced; if it is
damaged the appliance must be thrown
away.
- For your own safety, you should use only the
Moulinex accessories and spare parts which
are suitable for your appliance.
- Your iron is fitted with a thermal safety device
which will break the electrical circuit if there is
a fault.
- Never leave your iron unsupervised when it is
plugged in.
- Unplug the iron:
. before filling the water tank
. when you have finished ironing and for any
maintenance.
- Do not unplug the appliance by pulling on the
power cord.
- All appliances are subjected to strict quality
control. A few practical user tests are
performed with appliances selected at
random, which is why there may be slight
traces of use.

Position of the handle during use: simply
raise the handle. The button (I) locks
automatically and the handle is fixed.
Position of the handle for storage: press the
locking
button
automatically.
Use:
- Fill the water tank with tap water.
- Plug in the iron.
- Set the thermostat button according to the
fabric to be ironed. The temperature control
light (G) goes out once the right temperature
has been reached.

. Steam/Pressing: Set the thermostat button
(H) to the steam range and press the
steam/pressing control button (D) at a rate of
not more than once a second.
. Spray: Press the spray control button (C) in
pulses.
Remember:
- Empty the water tank after each use and
when transporting the iron.
What to do if your appliance
does not work?
- Make sure the voltage switch (J) is in the
right position.
- Check the electrical connection.
