Points to note when connecting to a nonlinear editor
• Set INTERFACE SELECT >i.LINK MODE in the setup menu of the PDW-F70/F30/
70MD/F75/75MD to "TS".
• Before writing material that you have edited on a nonlinear editor to a disc in the PDW-
F70/F30/70MD/F75/75MD, change the settings of the STOP item under AUTO EE
SELECT in the setup menu to "EE".
• If you are unable to input or output video even after connecting an i.LINK cable, connect
the i.LINK cable again, making sure to push its plug straight in.
The following table shows the relation between the system frequency of the PDW-F70/F30/
70MD/F75/75MD and the operation of the TS board.

The unit does not synchronize to the reference video signal input to the REF VIDEO INPUT
connector when there is a TS connection. Disconnect the i.LINK cable if you need external
synchronization. The following table shows the relation between TS connection and external
synchronization.
