Application
4.1
Correct use of the unit
Only use the unit for trimming dental stone or resin dental arches
4.2
Unapproved use
Only spare parts and accessories supplied or authorized by Renfert GmbH may be used with this prod-
uct� If other spare parts or accessories are used, this could have a detrimental effect on the safety of the
device, increase the risk of serious injury and lead to damage to the environment or the device itself�
4.3
Ambient conditions (according to DIN EN 61010-1)
The unit should only be operated:
• indoors,
• up to 2,000 metres above sea level,
• at an ambient temperature of 5 ºC - 40 ºC [41 ºF - 104 ºF] *),
• at a maximum relative humidity of 80 % at 31 ºC [87�8 ºF], linear reduction up to 50 % relative humidity
at 40 ºC [104 ºF] *),
• with mains electricity supply provided that the voltage fluctuation is within 10 % of the rated value,
• with Pollution Degree 2,
• with Overvoltage Category II�
*) The unit can be used at a temperature of 5 ºC - 30 ºC [41 ºF - 86 ºF] and at a humidity of up to 80 %� At tempera-
tures of 31 ºC - 40 ºC [87�8 ºF - 104 ºF] the humidity must reduce proportionately to ensure that the unit can be
operated (e�g� at 35 ºC [95 ºF] = 65 % humidity, at 40 ºC [104 ºF] = 50 % humidity)� The unit should not be operat-
ed at temperatures above 40 ºC [104 ºF]�
