Installation and commissioning Akkubox
Connection of the solar module
Of the battery box can max. 50 Wp solar module output can be connected. The connection is
connected to the "INPUT 18V DC" on the back of the battery box. Depending on the version you have
one or two solar panels with matching plug in a set. A solar panel can be directly connected to the
connector of the battery box. At 2 solar modules (eg each 25 Wp)
must be used, a Y-manifold. The Y-junction is immediately connected to the solar modules.
Included is a 5 m extension cable. Once the solar panel is connected to the sun and
Solar module falls, the LED "charging". If the LED flashes, the battery is fully charged. Please note that
the solar modules are installed free of shadows to the south and mounted stable. The nut can be
screwed in the plugs firmly.
Note: For more than 50 W of connected solar module power electronics will be destroyed in the battery
box!
Master switch "SYSTEM"
At the back of the battery box, the toggle switch "SYSTEM ON / OFF" is attached. If this switch is
turned "OFF" then the outputs are turned off, the battery is being charged, however, continue. In the
"ON" LED "System" in red or green. A green light is the battery sufficiently charged, and the outputs
can be controlled as necessary by using the buttons on the lid of the box. When red LED outputs are
switched off and the battery must first be charged until the LED turns green.
Connecting the load
The battery box has 4 outputs. These can be on the "ON / OFF" switch on or off. In active standby, the
green LED above the button. All outputs are short circuit protected. When a short circuit, the respective
green LED output flashes until the short is removed.
Each output is individually described below. All outputs are equipped with a protective cap. These must
be removed before connecting.
Output 1:
Output Voltage: 6 VDC, max. Current Rating: 1 A
Output 2:
Output voltage: 12 VDC, max. Current Rating: 1 A
Output 3:
Output voltage: 12-18 VDC, max. Current Rating: 1 A
The output voltage is between 12 V and 18 V can be set with the control dial. When pressing the
"Timer", the timer operation is activated. This means that the output is "OUTPUT 3" activates each
hour for about 10 minutes. This mode is particularly useful in low sunlight.
Output 4:
Output voltage: 12 VDC,
max. Current: 4 A
To connect various loads such as LED lights, radio, etc. The connection is made via screw terminals
on the rear of the housing.
Note: The outputs 1 to 3 are connected through connector system. The caps must be tightened.
Unused outputs must be closed with the appropriate caps. The plugs are polarity protected. Please do
not use force when inserting!

LED displays
"SYSTEM"
Lights green when the battery is ready for use. Glows red when the battery is dead and the outputs
(OUTPUT) are off.
"CHARGING"
Lights amber when the internal battery is charging. Flashes when the battery is fully charged and is on
trickle charge.
"OUTPUT 1 - 4" and "Timer"
Lights green when the output is enabled. In short, the corresponding LED will flash and the output will
be switched off to eliminate the short-circuit.
Replacing the Battery
It is recommended every 2-3 years to replace the battery. A new, structurally identical battery from the
manufacturer or dealer.
Go with the exchange as follows:
Set the main switch. (SYSTEM ON / OFF) on the back of the battery box to the "OFF" (off) and unplug
all connectors Turn the battery station on the head and loosen the bottom four screws. Turn the battery
box then get back and take the cover carefully. Loosen the + pole and - pole connection at the battery
with a suitable
Tool. Remove the battery from the housing and insert the new, identical battery. Install the terminals
again with the appropriate tools on the battery.
Pay attention to the cable color please: positive (brown) and negative (blue).
Close the case again in reverse order.
Note: Please use only one of the same battery with the same voltage and capacity.
Note: The old battery should be disposed of safely. This should be done at the local, public collection
or your dealer.
Wintering
Charge the battery in the battery box full. Take advantage of a sunny day and to turn on the switch
"SYSTEM ON / OFF" (off). Wintering the battery box only from a full charge in a frost-free room. On
sunny days, the battery box can be plugged in occasionally to the solar module to charge. This allows
for the longest possible battery life.
Problems
LED sunlight despite not green, but the yellow LED.
The battery is not sufficiently loaded and has not yet reached the restart threshold. The charging
process can
take over low sunlight for several hours. Battery is exhausted! Approx. every 2 years, the battery
should be replaced. LED is not green despite sunlight when leaving and re-turn on the switch
"SYSTEM ON / OFF" the pump will start and the green LED lights. The battery had not yet reached its
restart threshold. After switching on and off of the system will reset the electronics and the load is
supplied with power without waiting for the start value. This is a normal process and there is no defect.
A green LED flashes on an output.
There is a short circuit at the output. Please check the attached device and all connections (especially
the pump and LED lighting for leaks).
Check the cable for damage or animal bites.
The yellow "CHARGING" light up, otherwise nothing works.
If the switch "SYSTEM ON / OFF" on (ON)?
If so, then turn off the switch "SYSTEM ON / OFF" button for about 1 minute and then on again.
