Use the FACOM CR.PS stapler only when repairing non structural plastic bodywork parts on vehicles.
-
Before using the FACOM CR.PS stapler, ensure that the plastic to be repaired is compatible with hot
metal staple fastening, and that this repair method is authorized by the vehicle's manufacturer.

The staples are hot during the fastening operations. Always wear the personal protection equipment
set out by current regulations.

When applied on plastic, the staples may produce smoke or vapour. Caution! Use the appropriate
protection means.

Use the FACOM CR.PS stapler in a dry, clean and well-ventilated environment.

Never disassemble or modify the FACOM CR.PS stapler.

All maintenance operations shall be performed in a FACOM-approved maintenance centre.
Characteristics
Connect this device only to 220V- 240V 50/60HZ mains.
Its maximum consumption is 12.6W.
Staple temperature: 100°c to 200°c according to heating intensity.

Use

Connect the "2" power supply lead to mains.

Press the "2" power on button.

Select the heating temperature (button "3") according to the part to be repaired. Make some tests if
required.

Select the most adapted staple in the box "7" and insert it into the staple holder bits "6".

Place the staple in position and press button "5" to start heating.
-
Once the appropriate temperature reached, t the staple as to penetrate the plastic without pushing it
through the part to repair.
