With the help of the user instruction of the product and the inspection sheet, and without any specific tool or a particular measuring device. Observe and
touch each component of the product in order to detect possible anomalies. If one or more checkpoints are defective, the harness must be withdrawn
from service and replaced by a compliant device. The use of this document for periodic inspection is reserved for competent persons.
Inspect the visual aspect of the product; the device must be checkable.

Check the condition of each component of the guided type fall arrester. It should not be misshapen, nor
cut, nor wear nor oxidized nor stained by chimical products such as paint, cement, etc ...

Detent ball pin :

Check the detent ball pin, it should not be misshapen, oxidized, cut nor worn. Make sure that the
detent ball pin works properly by handling it. Check that it can take place in it's hole properly. Verify
that the detent ball pin is linked to the fall arrester by a steel cable.
Functional inspection:

Make sure that the guided type fall arrester slide on the rope on both side (top and down). Verify that
the device doesn't slide on locked position.

product..
