Automatic Shut-Off

The automatic suction shut-off function s wh en the recovery tan k is full of liquid. Th is can be
detected by a n oticeable difference in th e motor soun d. Immediately turn off th e un it when
this happens an d empty the recovery tank.
B. Em pt ying t he Recovery Tank
NOTE:
Tu rn off th e p ower switch an d u n p lu g th e carp et sh am p ooer/
extractor to empty the recovery tan k.
1) Press the recovery tank latch downward to release the tank from the carpet
shampooer/ extractor un it as shown in Figure 1.
2) Slid e th e recover y tan k ou t from th e lower p ortion of th e carp et
shampooer/ extractor un it.
3) Lift off th e recovery tan k lid an d empty con ten ts in to a suitable water
drain.
4) Rinse out th e recovery tan k an d tank lid thorough ly.
5) Remove an d clean th e filter by rin sin g it with water after each use. Place
the same filter back in the recovery tan k as sh own in Figure 2.
6) Replace th e recovery tan k lid by alignin g notch es in lid over tank tabs.
7) Close lid securely.
8) Return th e recovery tan k to th e carpet sh ampooer/ extractor unit.
9) Push the recovery tank all the way into carpet shampooer/ extractor until
secure. Be sure th e ridge on th e latch sn aps securely in place.
10) Resume cleanin g.
