•
Before each use, check the hedge
trimmer for obvious defects such as
loose, worn or damaged parts. Check
the secure seating of the bolts in the
cutter bar.
•
Check coverings and safety devices
for damage and correct seating. Re-
place these where necessary.
•
Keep the ventilation slots (
motor housing (cutting head) (
of the device clean. Use a damp cloth
or a brush to do this. Do not wash
down the equipment with water, or
submerge it in water.
•
Always keep the equipment clean.
After using the equipment, it is im-
perative to:
- Clean the blade
(with an oily cloth);
- Oil the blade shaft
with an oil can or

Slight notches on the blades can be
evened out. For this, sand down the
blades with an oil stone. Only sharp
blades can cut properly.
•
Blunt, bent or damaged blades must
be changed.
Storage
•
Keep the trimmer in the blade guard
supplied, in a dry place and out of
reach of children.
•
Store the unit horizontally or assured
against falling over. Bring the cutting
unit in storage location.
•
Store the battery only in a partially
charged state. During prolonged
storage, 2 to 3 LEDs should be illumi-
nated.
•
Store the equipment between 0 °C
and 45 °C. During storage, avoid
extreme cold or heat so the battery
does not lose power.

the state of charge of the battery and
recharge if necessary roughly every
3 months.
