Wall mount assembly for HK Audio IL 12.1, IL 12.2, IL 15.1 and IL 15.2 cabinets
The enclosure may be swiveled 180° vertically and tilted horizontally up to an
angle of 60° in 5° increments.
Max. permissible load is 40 kg.
MB 5 Mounting Instructions
1. Attach the MB 5's wall mount base with
the retaining arm to the desired spot on
a wall. To do this you need eight screws
and eight wall plugs designed for what-
ever material the given wall is made of.
2. Undo the three hexagonal head screws
in the base of the speaker cabinet (see
figure 2).
3. Place the MB 5's latch plate in the
upright position (0° position) and secure
the screws in the tilt set mechanism to
keep them from falling out.
4. Set the cabinet on the retainer plate and
attach it to the retainer plate using the
hexagonal head screws (see figure 3).
5. Swivel the cabinet to align it to the
desired angle and tighten hexagonal
head screw A firmly.
6. Now set the cabinet's angle of tilt, which
is graduated in increments of 5°. To learn
more about this, read the next section,
"Tilting cabinets using the MB 5".
