- For finely, evenly chopped food, remove any food from the sides of the bowl and move it towards
the centre using the spatula (U) provided, after first switching off the appliance and unplugging it
from the mains power (Fig. 6).
- If it is necessary to add foods during appliance operation, use the opening in the lid (N). Push the
foods down with the pusher (I) on its own or together with the small pusher (L) (Fig. 7). At the end
of this operation, it is possible to screw the small food presser (L) inside the large one (I), turning
it clockwise.
- To stop the appliance, turn the dial (A) to "0".
Slicing
-
Fit the required blade, the slicing blade (Q-S), julienne blade (R-T) or chip blade (P) into the
blade disc (O) so that the hole in the blade is in the centre of the disc (Fig. 8).
-
Fit the blade disc (O) onto the blade support (F), gripping it by the slots, with the blade facing
upwards (Fig. 9).
-
Fit the lid (N) over the bowl (V) and proceed as described in the section "Chopping or mixing".
-
When using the slicing or chopping blade, we recommend speed "1".
INSTRUCTIONS FOR BLENDER USE
- Fit the blender (C) onto the power base (B) and turn it clockwise until it clicks into place and so
that the tabs on the blender fit perfectly into the slots in the power base (Fig. 10).
- Fit the lid (D) onto the blender (C) and press it gently down until fully inserted (Fig. 11).
- Insert the foods (prepared previously) through the opening in the lid, without exceeding the maxi-
mum level, which is marked on the blender (C) and then insert the plug (E) into the lid (D) pressing
it gently downwards and turning it clockwise to lock it into place (Fig. 12).
Note: The plug (E) also has a measure.
- Switch on the appliance, selecting the blade rotation speed with the operating dial (A). The appli-
ance has two speeds: minimum "1" and maximum "2".
It is also possible to select pulse operation by turning the dial (A) anticlockwise to "P". For the best
use of this function, only turn the dial for a very short time (2-3 sec.).
Note: For softer fruit and vegetables (e.g., bananas), start at slow speed and then increase the speed
as required. For firmer fruit or vegetables (e.g., carrots), use the maximum speed.
- For smoother results, switch off the appliance, unplug it from the mains power, remove the lid (D)
and, with the help of the spatula (U) provided, move any food deposited on the sides of the blender
(C) towards the centre.
- Repeat the above steps for processing other foods.
Note: Never place more than 300g of firm fruit or vegetables into the blender at any one time.
Note: To prevent liquid spills, never place more than 1000 ml of soups, purées or other liquids into
blender.
WARNING:
The blades are sharp; handle them with care.
Remove the protections from the metal blade (G) before use.
