Start-up guide

This section explains how to use your new Barbie Magic Secret Box. Read the following instructions
to discover all the functions of the Barbie Magic Secret Box. Ask an adult to read and understand the
safety instructions.
Note:
• Changing the batteries resets the unit and the secret code comes back to heart-heart-heart.
• When you enter your secret code, you have 10 seconds between each input. If you wait more than
10 seconds before pressing the 2nd key or the 3rd key, the drawers will remain closed.
• When you change your secret code, don't wait more than 10 seconds to press on the first, second
and third petal or the code will remain the same.

A flower-shaped keypad is concealed under the butterfly-shaped

photo frame. You will need to enter your secret code in order
to open the drawers of your Barbie Magic Secret Box. Use the
petal-shaped keys to enter the code.
Note: The secret code initially set at the factory is as follows:
heart-heart-heart. Enter heart-heart-heart, the green light will
flash, the box plays a magical sound effect and the drawers
hiding your secrets will open.

To change the secret code, press and hold the heart key for
3 seconds. You will hear a magical sound effect. Key in the
existing code and press and hold again the heart key for
3 seconds. If the correct code has been entered, the green light
under the keypad will flash two times. If the code is wrong,
the red light will flash twice.

Enter the new secret code and press and hold the heart key
one last time to confirm. The green light will flash again and the
drawers of your secret box will open: your new code has been
confirmed!
