The Danze 1/2" shower diverter valve extension kit is designed to provide up to 1 1/4" of
additional wall depth adjustment.
A) If the distance from the back of mounting plate to the finished wall surface is between 3 11/16~4
3/16", you need to use the extension kit A.
B) If the distance from the back of mounting plate to the finished wall surface is between 4 3/16~4
9/16", you need to use the extension kit B.

Remove the bonnet nut from the diverter cartridge by using an
adjustable wrench. Extract cartridge out of the socket of valve
body.
