Power supply: 230V, 50Hz
Relay Switching Power: 250V 2A
Allowable Room Temperature: from 0°C to 70°C.
Operation
The contents of these Instructions refer to the
effect that handling the component in question
can have on the behavior of the installation. It is
recommended that written instrucctions be
followed and applied when the component is
being manipulated
All the LEDs, keys and symbols mentioned in
these Instructions can be identified in Fig. 3 on
page 2. The green "power on" LED next to the
symbol in the Control Panel will remain ON
as long it is under voltage.
Three operating modes can be selected by
pressing the "Service Selector" key:
Stand-by. As long as this option is selected,
its corresponding symbol will show in the box
above the Control Screen and the green "power
on" LED next to the
symbol will be lit.
No Heat is generated, but the installation is
automatically protected from the effects of low
temperatures by the "frost protection" feature
(see explanation in the next section) and the
pump/3-way valve from possible seizure through
prolonged shutdowns by the "maintenance"
feature (see explanation in the next section).
Combined Heating and Domestic Hot
Water Service. As long as this option is selected,
the corresponding symbols will show in the box
above the Control Screen and the green "power
on" LED next to the
symbol will be lit. Heat is
generated to meet the system demand for
Heating and Domestic Hot Water.
Domestic Hot Water mode only. As long as
this option is selected, its corresponding symbol
will show in the box above the Control Screen
and the green "power on" LED next to the
symbol will be lit. Heat is generated to meet the
system demand for Domestic Hot Water.
"Frost protection" and "maintenance"
features
The "frost protection" is activated when the boiler
water temperature drops below 5°C. In this case,
the burner and the pump will run for thirty minutes
at minimum temperature.
The "maintenance" feature is always activated
after a continuous 24-hour shutdown, whichever
the service selected. In such a case, the pump(s)
will run for 3 seconds.
Boiler Control Screen
Press the "Service Selector" key until the symbol
of the service desired is displayed in the box
above the Control Screen, as has been described
at the beginning of the preceding section
"Operation".
The symbol
in all the control panels is fixed.
The symbols
and
are fixed if there is no
demand for the service they stand for, and when
there is, they flash.
Whichever the service selected, when pressing

as well as the pressure identified by the symbol
at the top.

In the pressure scale (0 to 5 bar) their instant

displayed up to that level.
Changing the factory-set operating
values
Following the above-mentioned display for the
temperature scales, when pressing the keys next
to

programmed operating temperature) starts

for Central Heaing and 60°C for Domestic Hot
Water.
Later pressings of the keys next to

respectively*. Stop pressing when the segment
has reached the position wanted on the scale
which corresponds to the new value for the
operating temperature of the water in the boiler
or in the DHW. When the segment stops flashing

* Between 50°C and 90°C for Heating, and between 30°C
and 60°C for Domestic Hot Water.
Retrieval of factory-set operating
limits
Modified and stored limit values can be replaced
by the factory-set values at any moment, except
during a modification process. To do that, proceed
as follows:
– Press the keys next to
2-3 seconds. When the screen flashes twice,
it means that the intended restoration has been
achieved.
Control Panel Lockout
Each operating fault will cause the control panel
to lockout, interrupting the service of the Heating
Unit concerned. All faults will cause the red LED

Certain faults can be corrected without the
intervention of a professional. These can be
identified simply because the LED next to the

fill pressure, the red LED next to bar will also
light up.
To solve all other faults, it will be necessary to
call a qualified technician. These are identified by
the LEDs next to

1 – Red LED next to the
lockout.
No service symbol is showing in the box
above the Screen, but the scale that was
displayed at the time of the fault remains.
The pumps and the 3-way valve will be OFF
except for the "Frost protection" and
"Maintenance" features.
Please check that the fuel tank is not empty,
the power and fuel supplies to the burner
are correct and then press the illuminated
lockout reset button on the burner.
When service to the burner is re-established,
or bar the current
the control panel is reset and stand-by
operation is restored.

Lockout for lack of, or excess pressure.
No service symbol is showing in the box

Should pressure be too low, check for water
leaks in the system. Add or remove water
from the system until the pressure falls within
the maximum and minimum limit values on
the scale for one second.
Once pressure stabilizes, press the key next
to 'bar'. The symbol
above the Boiler Control and stand-by
operation is restored.
3 – Red LED next to the
tripping the Limit Thermostat (1) located in
the Control Panel or Connections Base.
No service symbol is showing in the box above
the screen and the boiler temperature scale
with the segment at 80°C (non-modifiable)
has replaced the scale showing at the time
the lockout occurred. The burner is OFF.
Water is sent to the radiator circuit until the

boiler temperature drops below 80°C. After
that, the pumps and the 3-way valve will be
OFF except for the "Frost protection" and
"Maintenance" features.
Allow the temperature of the water in the
boiler to drop below 80°C. Open the door.
Press the reset button on the Limit
Thermostat. Stand-by operation is restored.
Leave the boiler in good working order.
