Basic installation rules
The following basic rules must always be observed when in-
stalling Geberit Mapress axial expansion fittings:
• Do not load axial expansion fittings by turning (torsion).
• Protect the bellows against damage and dirt.
When creating anchor and sliding points, the following rules
must be observed:
• Do not use swing suspensions between the anchor points.
• Mount the anchor and sliding points securely before the
pressure test.
• Configure the sliding points as guide bearings.
• Mount just one Geberit Mapress axial expansion fitting be-
tween two anchor points.
