B. Connecting the PSP to the cradle
1. Connect the earphone jack and the DC IN 5V jack on the bottom of your PSP console to the plugs (a and (b on the
cradle to the cradle as shown and insert.
2. Connect one end of your PSP console's power cable to the cradle's DC 5V jack and the other end to a standard AC
outlet.
CAUTION: Only use the AC adapter supplied with your PSP console. Using another AC adapter may damage both
your PSP console and the cradle.
C. Using the PSP in the cradle
1. To use the PSP console in the cradle, slide the Play/Charge/Off switch to Play on the cradle.
2. Turn on the PSP console.
3. Adjust the PSP console for the best viewing angle.
Note: Be careful when you adjust the viewing angle of your PSP, it is possible to affect
its contact with the cradle, resulting in lost or intermittent audio. Simply reseat your PSP
in the cradle to fully restore the connection.
4. Adjust the PSP console's volume control to a comfortable listening level.
5. For private listening, connect the stereo headphones with 3.5 mm plug to the PSP
cradle's headphone jack.
6. To turn off the PSP cradle/speaker, set Play/Charge/Off switch to Off.
D. Charging the PSP Console
You can use your PSP console while it is charging, but charge time is faster when PSP console is off.
1. To charge the PSP console's built-in rechargeable battery, set Play/Charge/Off switch on the cradle to Charge. The
PSP console's charging indicator light will turn amber indicating the PSP console is charging.
2. When the PSP console's rechargeable battery is fully charged, the PSP console's charging indicator turns green. Set
the PSP cradle's Play/Charge/Off to Play. If you switch to Off, the speaker function will be turned off.
IMPORTANT: When the cradle is not in use, always set Play/Charge/Off switch to Off to avoid over-charging your
PSP console's rechargeable battery.
E. Turn the blue led on or off
1. To turn on the blue LED, set LED ON/LED OFF to ON.
2. To turn off, set LED ON/LED/OFF to LED OFF.
