This device is intended for private use only, not for commercial use. We hold no liability for damage possibly
resulting from other than the indicated use or incorrect handling of the device.
•
Keep this instruction manual carefully. If this device is referred to another party, please also pass over this
instruction manual.
•
Please ensure before operation that the mains voltage complies with the specifications on the rating label.
•
Never expose this device to water or immerse in water. If, however, such case happens, have the device
checked by the customer service before using it again.
•
Refer repair of electronic appliances to qualified personnel in order to prevent any risks. This also applies for
the exchange of the connecting lead. If the device needs maintenance please send it to our customer service.

•
Do not operate the device if: the device or connecting lead is obviously damaged; the device has been dropped
on the floor.
•
Disconnect the mains plug: after each time operating; if there is any interference with operation; before
cleaning.
•
Do not hold the connecting lead when disconnecting the mains plug.
•
Children do not know the possible risks when using electric appliances. Therefore keep children away from
electric appliances!
•
Never disassemble any enclosure components and never attempt to insert metal objects into the device.
•
Pay attention that the power cord does not get damaged through bending or rubbing on sharp edges.
•
This device or connecting lead must not encounter hot surfaces (such as hot plates) or open fire.
•
Do not expose this unit to rain or humidity. Do not use outdoors or touch with wet hands.
•
Fill the reservoir with water only – not with any other liquids.
•
If you want to make coffee several times consecutively, always switch off the device for about 5 minutes
before operating again.
•
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
•
Children shall not play with the appliance.
•
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
•
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
•
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.
•
The machine should not be operated by means of an external timer‐switch or by means of a separate system
with remote control.
