CLEANING AND STORAGE
• Pull the front grill away from the front housing (Fig. 7).
• Gently wipe the Fan Blade and grilles with a cloth.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE FAN IN WATER AND NEVER ALLOW WATER TO DRIP
INTO THE MOTOR HOUSING. DO NOT USE GASOLINE, PAINT THINNER, OR
OTHER CHEMICALS TO CLEAN THE FAN.
• Re-assemble the fan by replacing the front grille and gently tightening the 4
rear screws.
• Clean the fan carefully as instructed. For off-season storage, cover the
product to protect it from dust and store it in a cool, dry place.
TROUBLESHOOTING
• If the fan head area seems to be loose and cannot maintain its position, turn
fan over and locate the tension tightening knob on the bottom of the base.
Gently and gradually turn the knob clockwise (
(Fig. 8).
NOTE: If the knob is overtightened the fan will not be able to pivot. If the fan
head does not pivot easily, turn the fan over and locate the tension tightening
knob on the bottom of the base. Gently turn the knob counter-clockwise (
to loosen the fan head.
