FUNCTIONS
GLOBAL MIDI
Global MIDI Channel [1-16]
This specifies which MIDI channel the MINIKEY will
transmit messages for notes, pitch bend and MIDI
messages that are sent to your MIDI device. This
should be set to match the MIDI DAW software
application that you are controlling. These settings
for this button can be changed using the Software
Editor.
MOD MODE
These settings for this button can be changed using
the Software Editor.
Keyboard
The keyboard transmits note messages and is
velocity sensitive. You are able to specify the
transposition and velocity curve using the software
editor. MIDI messages are transmitted on the global
MIDI channel.
Transpose [-12/+12]
This is used to transpose the pitch of the keyboard
up or down in semitone steps. The range is -12 to
+12.
Velocity Curve
The velocity curve determines how the force with
which you play the keys affects the output of the
note. You can choose 3 different curves or a fixed
velocity.
CC MODE
Pressing the CC MODE Button changes the function
of the 25 keys to function as independent buttons
to control change messages. You can specify which
MIDI channel the control change messages are
transmitted on; whether or not each key is enabled,
the key type, control change number and the on/
off value. These settings can be changed using the
Software Editor.
MIDI Channel [1 to 16/Global MIDI Channel]
This specifies the MIDI channel of the MIDI
messages that are transmitted when you strike the
key. If you set this to "Global MIDI Channel," the
messages will be transmitted on the global MIDI
channel.
Assign Type [No Assign/Note/Control Change]
This specifies the type of message that will be
assigned to the key. You can disable the pad or
assign a note message, or a control change.
Key Behaviour [Momentary/Toggle]
You can choose one of the following two types of
behaviour for the key.
Momentary
The note on or off value will be transmitted when
you press the key, and the note on or off value will
be transmitted when you release it.
Toggle
The note on or off value will be transmitted
alternately with the note on or off value each time
you press the key.
Note Number [C1 to G9/No Assign]
This specifies the note number of the note message
that is transmitted.
CC Number [0 to 127/No Assign]
This specifies the control change number of the
control change message that is transmitted.
On Value [0 to 127]
This specifies the value of the message that is
transmitted when the key turns on.
Off Value [0 to 127]
This specifies the value of the message that is
transmitted when the key turns off.
You can set this only if the assign type is set to
"Control Change."
