2. Initial installation

· O pen the battery compartment cover on the back of the keyboard by
gently pressing on the marked location.
· I nsert the supplied batteries, ensuring that the poles are the right way around
(indicator visible in battery compartment).
· W hen first used, the wireless keyboard and USB dongle must be
paired with one another.
· C onnect the USB dongle to any USB port on your TV or receiver
(the device should be switched on when you do so).
· T he distance between the USB dongle and the keyboard should not
be more than 60cm during pairing.
· B riefly press the ID key on the back of the keyboard.
· T o check it is working, you can e.g. press the 'Mute' button (on the left next to the
battery charge status display). The device should instantly respond.

· I f you use the USB dongle again, or switch off the device, or change the batteries,
you do not need to repeat this process. All the parameters remain saved.
· T he pairing procedure might only need to be repeated if there is extreme
disruption to reception.
