05.7 Solución de Problemas
ERROR DISPLAY
Sp02 or pulse rate DOES NOT
display
SpO2 Pulse rate is inaccurate
or shown sporadically
Device error
CAUSE
The finger is NOT inserted
correctly
The patient's SpO2 value is too low
to be measured
Excessive patient movement
The finger is NOT far enough into
the device
Finger size is NOT within the
recommended
Excessive ambient light
Pulse rate value of the cyclical
fluctuations
The batteries are low
The batteries are exhausted
Device error
Retry by reinserting the finger
1. There is excessive background illumination
2. Measure another patient to make sure that NO
problem exists with the device
Go to a hospital or contact your doctor promptly for an
exact diagnosis.
Stop moving the finger, hand or body
Place the finger properly and try again
Change to another finger
Avoid excessive light
The measurement is normal, and the patient has an
arrhythmia
You should use the charger to charge the device.
Refer to Section 02.1
You should use the charger to charge the device or
replace the batteries. Refer to Section 02.1
Repeat measurement. If you get the same message
