WARNING!
Hot Surfaces. Contact with hot engine cover
can cause severe burns. Shut unit off and allow it
to cool before installing Static Kit.
1. Remove straight tube and nozzle (A).
2. Loosen clamps (B) on flex tube, and
separate flex tube from discharge
elbow (C) and swivel tube (D).
3. Connect static wire ring terminal (E) to
right hand engine cover screw (EE).
Tighten screw securely.
4. Insert loose end of static wire (E)
through flex tube, flex tube clamps (B),
and swivel tube (D).
5. Slide flex tube back on to discharge
elbow (C), and tighten large clamp.
6. Slide flex tube back on to swivel tube
(D), and tighten small clamp.
7. Fold loose end of static wire (E) over open
end of swivel tube (D), and secure to tube by
assembling straight tube and nozzle (A) over
fold.
NOTE:
Allow slack in static wire to permit normal move-
ment of tubes.
8. Check blower tubes for normal range of motion.
If needed, loosen large flex tube clamp and pull
static wire back toward engine to increase free-
dom of movement. Tighten clamp securely.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The static discharge reduction wire reduces static
buildup by safely discharging static electricity dur-
ing blower operation. You must connect and install
the wire as instructed, otherwise static shock may
occur while operating blower.
