OPERATIONS
1. Power On and Off
1.1 Press the ON/OFF key (4) to turn on the display and backlight. The angle between
the arms (6) & (8) will be displayed in degrees (°).
1.2 Press the ON/OFF key for >2 seconds to turn off the unit.
Note: The unit will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of non-use.
Backlight will automatically turn off after 1 minute of non-use. Press any key to turn
on the backlight again.
2. Rotation of display
2.1 Turn on the unit.
2.2 Press the ON/OFF (4) key to rotate the display 180°.
2.3 Press again to return display to normal position.
3. Calibration
Note: The level is pre-calibrated from the factory and the unit should only be recalibrated
if it has been dropped.
3.1 Close the arms (6) & (8) together.
3.2 Press the ON/OFF (4) and HOLD/SUP (3) keys at the same time to reset angle to 0°.

4. Hold
4.1 Press the HOLD/SUP key (3) to lock the display value.
4.2 The HOLD indicator will appear and flash on the display.
4.3 Press (3) again to unlock the display value.

5. Supplementary angle
5.1 The supplementary angle is 180° minus the current angle between the arms (6) & (8).
5.2 Press the HOLD/SUP key (3) for >2 seconds to change the display to the
supplementary angle. The SUP indicator will appear and flash on the display.
5.3 Press (3) again for >2 sec. to return to normal angle.
