Troubleshooting
DOES NOT TURN ON:
▪ Check that the cables are connected correctly. Make sure that all
connections have electrical and mechanical contact.
▪ The fuses or circuit breakers may be faulty or blown. Check the status of the
circuit breakers and make sure they are compatible with the consumption
of the equipment.
▪ Check the charge of the battery and make sure it is sufficient to operate
the product.
NO SOUND:
▪ Speaker cables or RCA plugs may be defective or not connected correctly.
▪ Make sure that the LEVEL control is not set to minimum.
LED PROT ON:
▪ Check to see if the ventilation inlet of the product is obstructed or the
product is overheated.
▪ Check the loud speakers, cables and connections for short circuits.
POOR SOUND QUALITY (DISTORTIONS):
▪ The speakers may be overloaded or defective, lower the level and redo
the level adjustment.
WEAK BASS:
▪ The polarity
and
of the speaker cables can be inverted (speaker
out of phase).
NOISE AND SOUND FAILURES:
▪ Run the shielded input cable away from all other cables since it is more
sensitive to interference.
▪ Install a separate power source (+ 12V) for the sound system. Use a fuse/
breaker within 30 cm of the battery for protection.
▪ Ground the amplifier well. To do this, remove the paint from the vehicle
chassis at the desired point and connect the wire using a grounded terminal.
In order to prevent rust, insulate it with paint.
▪ Do not loop the ground or use multiple grounds. If possible, use a star
connection in which all the grounds run from a single point.
