Fitting instructions
1. Detach the transparent cover from
the meter; if necessary, clean the
surface over the pointer.
3. Tighten the screw (provided with
the sealing kit). After the screw has
been tightened correctly, a red led
will blink during activation (radio
ON).
Activation of the module
The device is deactivated upon delivery (only the calendar is active). When the
installation procedure is complete, the module will activate automatically (radio
ON/all functions) according to the factory default settings. Allow a few revolutions
of the pointer before it starts counting (self-calibration).
2. Fit the sensor in its seat. If
necessary, write down the radio's ID
shown on the label (module) and
the meter's serial number.
4. Seal the screw with the tamper-
evident label provided. A
mechanical seal is available on
request (lid on request).

Factory settings

Radio transmission factory settings (custom settings excluded):

wM-Bus T1 mode (encryption disabled), short data frame

Transmission interval: every 2 minutes, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.,
Monday to Friday, 12 months

Starting value: 0 litres

Billing dates:
1. Yearly on 31 December
2. Monthly at the end of each month
The configuration settings can be changed via radio with the dedicated software
available for download at www.maddalena.it (a radio transmitter and the key for
the configuration are needed).
The configuration settings can be changed within a limited period of time by
putting the key close to the radio module (left side).
