• Place the water jug on the base.
• Before using the kettle, you are recommended to boil water and
throw it away, to clean out any impurities.
Risk of injury and damage!
If you heat too much water in the kettle, there may be splashes of hot water
from the water tank and, if you heat too little water, it could overheat and
be damaged.
Risk of scalding and burns.
The kettle heats up when working and gives off hot steam that could burn
or scald.
• Never touch the hot parts of the electric kettle.
• Hold the kettle only by the handle. Warn other users too of the dangers.
• Keep away from the steam outlet.
• Remember that the kettle can give off steam even after switching
itself off.
• Always keep the lid closed while pouring hot water.
• Connect the base to the mains
• Fill the tank. To do so, open the lid using the opening button, and
pour the required amount of cold water. The water must be between
the MIN and MAX marks in the water indicator.
• Place the water tank on the base.
• Always close the lid before switching on the boiler. Make sure the
lid clicks into place and that it is properly closed.
• Flick the ON/OFF button upwards. The switch will light up and the
water will be heated. When the water boils, the kettle will turn off
automatically and the light will also go out.
• To stop the process beforehand, flick the ON/OFF button
downwards.
• Wait a minute until the water is no longer boiling.
