Thank you for purchasing the Testboy 120.
It has professional functions for work on all kinds of magnetic field:
1a.) Contact-free magnetic field detection
The Testboy 120 detects magnetic fields of all kinds by means of the
integrated circuit in the probe. For example: solenoid valves in heating
installations, and in commercial vehicle applications, print relays on PCBs,
and many more. First of all, the batteries must be tested according to the
functional check below. Touch the components to be tested with the tip
of the magnetic detector (1a.). The lamp flashes if the component is
electrically activated. It is not necessary to halt machines or devices
to carry out test procedures.
Functional check:
Remove the testing magnet from the lid of the magnetic field detector
and hold it close to the probe of the device (see image point 1.), which
will then light up. If the test lamp does not light up, the batteries must
be replaced.
1b.) Torch lamp
Switch on the integrated flashlight by turning the cap (see picture
point 1b.). With the high efficient LED an illuminated period of up
to 60 hours (per battery set) is attainable! The life span of the LED is
more than 100,000 hours.

2.) Change Batteries

Take a screwdriver and lever out the battery case at the indentation
(see picture point 2).
Pay attention when inserting the new batteries to the polarity!
Do not dispose the empty batteries with the domestic refuse.
