• Before connecting and before each use, check if all connectors are firmly seated (in particular screws and
nuts) and hoses, in particular regarding damages of the compressed air lines and adapters
• Before switching on the device, also remove possibly used tightening and adjusting wrenches
• Do not overstretch yourself and make sure that you stand safely and have a stable balance of your body in
order to control the tool at any time, even in unforeseeable situations.
• Wear suitable clothing. Avoid wearing loose clothing or jewelry. Always keep your hair, clothing and gloves
away from moving parts, since they might get caught which would result in severe injuries.

Requirements for supplied compressed air
• Connect the device to clean, dry air at a pressure which does not exceed the maximum operating pressure
according to the technical data of this device. Higher pressure considerably reduces the service life of the
device and might further on result in severe accidents.
• Connect the device to the compressed air supply by using supply lines, hoses and connections of
prescribed cross sections and sizes (refer to the above illustration).
• Do not mount any quick-action coupling directly to the handle piece of the machine.
• In order to make sure that the device is working properly the compressor power must amount to at least
10% higher as the indicated consumption of the compressed air tool.
• Please observe the technical data described in these instructions.
Safety instructions for compressed-air machines
• The company Förch offers tools for compressed-air devices allowing you to work rapidly and safely.
• YOU YOURSELF are the most important safety factor for this and any other device.
• Your diligence and your judging abilities are the best protection against accidents. We are not able to
mention all possible dangers here, but we have tried to highlight the most important ones. This device and
its accessories must not be modified.
• Only qualified staff is allowed to use this device.
• The tool must only be deposited, if the rotating parts have come to standstill.
• Do not continue operating the device when it is transported.
• Always hold the device safely with the hands and position yourself with your body and arm in order that you
are able to absorb any blowbacks which might be caused by your application.
• Always keep your hands away from rotating parts. Also here blow-backs might occur.
• Immediately switch off the device, if it is getting canted or blocked. Do not restart the tool as long as it is
blocked. First disconnect the compressed air lines before trying to get the tool loose. Check why the tool
was blocked and take corresponding corrective measures.
Dangers of the compressed air supply:
• Compressed air can cause severe injuries!
• Always turn off the air supply. Deflate air from the hose until it is depressurized and interrupt the air supply
of the device, if it is not used, before replacing attachments or if repairs need to be done.
• Never direct the air jet towards yourself or other persons.
• Moving hoses can cause severe injuries. Make sure that the hoses are not damaged and that all
connections are correctly mounted and firmly seated.
• Never exceed the maximum air pressure indicated on the type plate, respectively of maximum 8 bars.
• Observe the installation instructions!
