Protection filter recycling station

Protection filter to protect the climate control service unit against impurities and
liquids such as sealants, UV dye for leakage search, oils with acids, etc.
Maximum pressure 24bar.
Introduction
1. General Safety Notes
1.1 Please read and understand always all notes regarding safety and operation before starting to
work with this device.
1.2 Any carelessness can cause damage to man and machine and can have fatal consequences.
1.3 The equipment must be operated by technically qualified persons who can show appropriate
authorization.
1.4 Inform yourself about the conditions when using refrigerants and their oils.
Please observe the safety data sheets. These can be obtained from your refrigerants' supplier.
1.5 Observe the prescribed use of compressed gas cylinders, as well as the safety data sheets of
the industrial gases used. These can be obtained from your gas supplier.
1.6 Always wear appropriate safety glasses and the prescribed protective clothing when working
with refrigerants and their oils.
1.7 Ensure adequate ventilation of the rooms in which you work with refrigerants and their oils.
1.8 Never exceed the allowed working pressure of the protective filter.
Instructions:
Attention: Never open the ball tap during operation. The filter may only be
emptied when the air conditioning service unit has completely evacuated the
air conditioning (system without pressure). Before use, please check all
connections for leak tightness and firm position.
Instructions for vehicle air conditioning
systems:
Connect the quick-coupling of your air conditioning
unit to the fitting (1) at the mini sight glass; connect
quick-coupling (3) with a hose from the protective filter
to the service port of the vehicle.
Evacuation of the air conditioning system: Please only
suck off by using the service hose connected to
the mini sight glass.
During operation the ball tap (2) has to remain closed.
After the suction is completed
(system without pressure), drain the liquids at the ball
tap (2) to the special disposal.
In case the vehicle has only a high-pressure port, then
the low-pressure nipple (1) of the mini sight glass has
to be exchanged to a high-pressure nipple (5380 608)
and the low-pressure climate control quick-coupling of the protective filter (3) has to be
exchanged to a high-pressure coupling (5380 691).
