Disposal of the unit
Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) must
not get into domestic waste!
If ever the unit cannot be used anymore, the consumer is
legally obliged to hand in waste electrical and electronic
equipment (WEEE) separately from domestic waste, e.g.
at a collection point of his community/his district. This
ensures that waste electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE) is expertly processed and that negative effects to the
environment are avoided.
Therefore electrical and electronic
equipment bears the following symbol:
Disposal of batteries
Every consumer is legally obliged to hand in old batteries and
old rechargeable batteries at an approved collection point.
By doing so they are routed to an environmentally and
resource saving usage. Batteries and rechargeable batteries
must not be disposed of via domestic waste.
Batteries therefore bear this symbol:
You can return all batteries and rechargeable batteries free of
charge at public collection points in your municipality or
where similar products are being sold.
Please return batteries and rechargeable batteries only when
empty.
Please hand in faulty batteries and rechargeable batteries to
the department for collection of hazardous substances at the
civic amenity site or at a mobile collection of hazardous
substances.
