3. Variable-speed Trigger Switch
a. To turn the impact wrench ON, depress the
variable-speed trigger switch (C).
b. To turn it OFF, release the variable-speed
trigger switch.
c. The variable-speed trigger switch delivers
higher speed with increased trigger pressure
and lower speed with decreased trigger
pressure.
4. Speed Selecting
The impact wrench can be adjusted among three
speed-range settings.
The tool defaults to the Max. speed mode. When
the variable-speed trigger switch is first pressed,
the LED indicator (E) will illuminate three green
lights to indicate that the tool is in maximum speed
and will provide maximum torque.
Adjust the speed by successively pressing the
speed button (D) one time.
1. The impact wrench provides lowest speed and
torque. One light illuminates.
2. The impact wrench provides medium speed
and torque. Two lights illuminate.
3. The impact wrench provides maximum speed
and torque. Three lights illuminate
The higher the set speed, the more torque the
impact wrench produces to turn an object. The
proper setting depends on the job and the type of
bit, fastener, and material you will be using.
The LED indicator will turn off after approximately
1 min after the variable-speed trigger switch or
speed button is released, and will revert to the
previous setting when the tool is turned on again.
NOTICE: Do not change the speed setting when
the tool is running. The speed range will not
change until you release the variable-speed trigger
switch.
