Step 3: Bluetooth Pairing and Un-pairing
1. Hold Connect Power Button for 1-second to turn Connect
on.The Status Light will flash red and green.
2. Go into the Bluetooth section of the Settings App on the
iPad.
3. Turn Bluetooth On.
4. Under Devices select Connect.
5. Once paired, the Status Light on Connect will remain solid
green. On the iPad it will say Connected next to Connect
in the Bluetooth devices menu.
If you have previously paired Connect with your iPad it should
automatically re-connect to the iPad when Connect is turned
on.
To un-pair Connect from an iPad:
1. Hold the Volume - and Power Button down at the same
time for 5-seconds. Status light will flash green five times
and then flash red and green.
2. Go into the Bluetooth section of the Settings App on the
iPad. Select the small circled i to the right of Connect
under Devices and select Forget this Device.
Step 7: Volume Adjustments
There are two separate ways to adjust the volume while using
Connect. The Volume + and Volume - buttons found on
Connect control the sound amplifier found inside of Connect.
The volume slider found within the Control Center on the iPad
controls the sound amplifier found inside of the iPad.
To maximize the sound output level use either of the following
settings:
If you plan to use the Volume + and Volume - buttons on
Connect to control the volume output, set the volume on
the iPad to the maximum level using the slider within the
Control Center.
If you plan to use the volume slider found within the
Control Center on the iPad to control volume output, set
the volume on Connect to the maximum level using the
Volume + button on Connect.

Step 4: Switches
Capacitive Touch Switches
On the front of Connect are two capacitive touch switches.
Touching either of the designated areas will act as a switch
press.
Wired Switches
Plug wired switches into Switch Jack 1 and/or Switch Jack 2.
Wireless Switches
1. Enter Wireless Switch Pairing Mode by holding down the
Volume + and Volume - buttons down at the same time
for 5-seconds. The Status Light will turn solid orange
2. Activate your wireless switch. The Status Light will flash
orange two times to confirm pairing.
3. (Optional) Activate your second wireless switch. The
Status Light will flash orange two times to confirm pairing.
4. To exit pairing mode activate the Power Button one time
or wait 20-seconds.
5. Once out of pairing mode the Status Light will turn solid
green.
To unpair all wireless switches hold the Volume + and Power
Button down at the same time for 5-seconds. Status light will
flash orange five times and then remain solid green.
Other Connect Functions
Power On Connect: Hold Power Button for 1-second and
Status Light will turn on.
Power Off Connect: Hold Power Button for 5-seconds and
Status Light will turn off.
Hard Reset: To reset Connect hold the Power Button down for
20-seconds.
iPad Charging: To charger your iPad without removing it from
Connect, use the included USB to USB cable in conjunction
with the charger that comes with the iPad.

Apps With Switch Access
If you plan to use an app that has switch access built into the
app, you will find your switch settings in the app itself.
Step 6: Switch Keystrokes (Optional)
In some instances you may find it necessary to change the
keystroke that is sent to the iPad or app when a switch is
pressed. To change keystroke modes, hold the Volume +,
Volume -, and Power Button on Connect for 5-seconds. The
Status Light will flash a color three times to denote which
keystrokes are now active.

Solid Green: Connect is on and paired to the iPad via a
Bluetooth connection
Flashing Red Five Times Every 5-seconds: Connect
battery is low and should be charged immediately
Wireless Switch Pairing:
Solid Orange: In wireless pairing mode
Flashes Orange Two Times: Wireless Switch Paired
Switch Keystrokes:
Flashes Orange Three Times: Space and Enter are used
Flashes Red Three Times: 1 and 3 are used
Flashes Green Three Times: ~1 and ~3 are used
