5. Peel back red tape liner on spacer block at center of Hood
Deflector. To reduce the risk of tape contamination due to
improper positioning, peel only 10cm of liner towards ends of
double sided tape. Pull loose ends of red tape liner towards
front of deflector. These will be used as pull tabs in step #6.
(Figure 5).

6. Adhere Hood Deflector onto hood and press lightly. Check
the position of the Hood Deflector and begin pulling the rest
of the tape liner from the center. NOTE: Adhesive backing
on spacer block is very strong and is not designed for re-
application. Using a soft clean cloth rub down firmly around
the tape attachment areas 4 times to ensure maximum
adhesion. (Figure 6).

7. Carefully install the Hood Deflector to hood. Ensure that the
metal wing clips align with the holes in the Hood Deflector.
Slide clips sideways slightly to ensure holes align (if re-
quired). Secure Hood Deflector to clips with screws and
washers provided. (Figure 7).

8. Complete installation by applying the black (4) bumpons on
hood. Ensure bumpons are directly positioned under the
screen printed dots located on inside surface of Hood
Deflector.
NOTE: Failure to ensure correct bumpons positioning may
result in permanent paint damage. (Figure 8).
WARNING:
Do not pull on Hood Deflector to close the hood.
