Do I have to remove my iPhone from its case
before I dock it?
The desktop dock features a floating base platform
and pivoting Lightning connector, which should
allow you to dock your iPhone while it's still inside of
a protective case. You will, however, need to remove
your iPhone from a mophie juice pack before you can
dock it in the desktop dock. (mophie juice pack docks
are available that let you dock your iPhone while it's
still inside of a mophie juice pack. Click here for more
information.) Also, if you use a folio-style wallet case
or a case featuring a port cover, you will need remove
the case before you can dock the phone.
Does the desktop dock allow my phone to charge
and sync?
You bet. Just plug the dock's USB connector into
your computer.
Does the desktop dock block the speaker,
microphone, camera, or any other ports?
Of course not. In fact, the desktop dock is designed
to act as a virtual speaker box! Sound is redirected
from the bottom of the phone up and out the front
