• The red light (3) will come on to
show that the appliance is ON and
the plates are heating up.
• The appliance is ready to be used
when the green light (2) comes on.
• Open the appliance by the handle
and put in the food without adding
oil or other seasoning; be careful
not to touch the hot parts.
• Close the appliance so that the
food inside is in contact with both plates.
• The green light (2) will automatically come on and go off during grilling
indicating that the plates are being kept at a constant temperature.
• Remove any juice formed during cooking with a non-scratch kitchen
utensil; be careful, as it is very hot.
• Open the appliance by the handle when you have finished grilling
and remove the food with a non-scratch kitchen utensil; be careful,
as the plates are very hot.
• Close the appliance again to keep in the heat if you want to grill
something else.
• Unplug from the supply outlet when you have finished and leave the
appliance to cool down before cleaning it and putting it away.
Grilling time depends on the type of food, thickness and personal
taste; with use and experience you will be able to decide the most
appropriate timing to get the best results.
CAUTION!
There may be some smoke when you use the appliance for the first
time, this is normal and is due to residue from production protective
substances on the resistance inside: this will disappear when you
use it again.
IMPORTANT!
• Do not use the appliance near to sources of heat.
• Make sure the cord does not touch the hot parts of the appliance.
