maintenance tips
These tips will help you take care of your Bugaboo Runner and ensure a smooth ride.
• Periodically remove the wheels and brush off any dirt or sand. Use a brush
and water to clean dirt off the wheels and the inside of the mudguards. Do not
submerge the wheel bearings in water.
• Use a soft brush to clean sand and dirt off the chassis. Take care to brush dirt
away from rotating or sliding parts. Then clean the chassis with a soft towel and
lukewarm water and wipe off any remaining water with a dry cloth.
• Use a sponge, warm water and liquid soap to gently rub off any dirt on the
handlebar foam. Wipe clean any soap residue left on the handlebar.
• Store your Bugaboo Runner and its accessories in a dry place and leave them
unfolded when wet to prevent mould.
Avoid while maintaining (or in use):
• Avoid using any oil, grease, gasoline, bleach, acid or soda based products on
your stroller.
• Avoid using a high pressure hose to clean your stroller.
• Avoid letting water or dirt to enter the handlebar tube through the brake.
For the best driving experience:
• Keep your tires at a pressure of around 3.5 bar to experience the lowest possible
rolling resistance and therefore best jogging performance.
• Regularly remove accumulated dirt from the inside of the mudguards to ensure
unhindered rotation of the wheels.
• If needed, adjust the front wheel tracking to ensure a straight rolling stroller by
using the tracking adjustment wheel. See chapter "adjusting the wheel tracking".
