Place the appliance on a stable, flat, and heat and moisture resistant surface.

Remove and discard all packaging materials and potential stickers or labels (except for the type plate)
before using the appliance for the first time.

Set the height slider
to OPEN and open the grill.

Wipe the grill plates
with a moist cloth. Dry the grill plates q.

Push the drip tray
into the appliance.

Make sure that the grill plates
are correctly locked into the grill.

Plug the power cable into a power outlet.
Switch the power switch
to I to switch on the appliance. The red control light

12. Switch off and unplug the appliance.
13. Let the appliance cool down.

Remove or add the foot attachments to change the inclination of the grill. When the attachments are

removed, potential grease will run into the drip tray more easily.

Do not spray any non-stick sprays onto the grill plates. This can damage the non-

Use a high temperature setting for grilling meat, fish and vegetables. Use a medium temperature

setting for grilling sandwiches and paninis.

Open the grill and place food on the lower grill plate.
Never open or close the grill with the grill plate adjustment handle. Only use the

handle.

Close the upper grill plate.
Adjust the height of the upper grill plate with the height slider. For pressure sensitive foods, set the

upper grill plate height so the upper grill is not placed onto the food.
When the food is cooked, open the upper grill plate with the handle 1.

Take the food from the grill plate with a heat resistant spatula.
Set the control knob

Switch off and unplug the appliance.
10. Let the appliance cool down.

We recommend cleaning the appliance after use. To clean the appliance:
1.
Switch off and unplug the appliance.
2.
Let the appliance cool down.
3.
Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth and a mild detergent.
Never put detergent directly onto the product.

Remove the drip tray
from the appliance.

Clean the drip tray
in warm water. Use a soft, non-scraping sponge and a mild detergent.

Reinsert the drip tray

Do not clean the drip tray in a dishwasher.

Wipe coarse food remains from the grill plates

in hot dish water. Use a nylon dish scrubber or a soft, non-scaping sponge.
