− If batteries leak, use gloves to remove them and dispose
of properly.
− If battery acid has leaked, avoid contact with your skin,
eyes, and mucous membranes. In the event of contact
with acid, immediately flush the applicable areas with
plenty of clean water and if necessary promptly consult a
physician.
− Do not mix old and new batteries.
− Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or
rechargeable (ni-cad, nimh, etc.) batteries.
