Low power stand-by
You can further reduce power consumption in
stand-by mode by selecting "On". This will
reduce the power consumption below 1W if no
timers have been programmed. However, this
mode will lose all collected EPG information, the
last-viewed channel, the volume setting and the
favourite list. Furthermore, the time will not be
shown on the display (4). Select "Off" to disable
Low power stand-by mode.
Scan scrambled
Here you can choose whether the channel
search should scan for unscrambled channels
only or scrambled channels also. Select "Off" to
filter for scrambled channels.
Parental lock
You can protect your satellite receiver against
unauthorised access. To do this, select the "On"
option. It will then only be possible to power on
the unit via the remote control. The On/Standby
button (1) on the unit will not respond for power-
on. Select "Off" to disable the parental lock
function.
Tip: If you want your children to watch specific
channels only, you can create a children's
favourite list so after hiding the remote control
your kids can only switch channels from this
favourite list by pressing the control buttons on
the device. A description of the favourite list
editing can be found on page 12.

receiver. The following settings are available:
