Assembly instructions
Read this manual and comply with all the instructions before you start using the windscreen heater!
This portable windscreen heater is to be used solely as a beneficial and additional help to free windscreens
that have become wet or frozen from ice faster and to dry them using ca. 200W power. Its V–shaped folding
mechanism makes storage easy and ensures good flexibility when attaching to the windscreen. Simple start-
up via the cigarette lighter receptacle. Includes an integrated thermostat controller that automatically regulates
in case of overheating.
Installation:
Mount the windscreen heater at a suitable position on your automobile's windscreen. The folding mechanism
provides a certain amount of flexibility for various window sizes and window forms.
This folding mechanism can be opened up to 180°. Please make absolutely sure that your visual area is not
obscured.
Starting up:
Attach the windscreen heater to the windscreen. Make sure the bottoms of the suction cups are clean and
likewise the area where the suction cups are to be fastened. Please make sure the windscreen heating is
firmly and correctly seated. Depending on the type of car, switch on the receptacle power supply with the key.
Now plug the plug into your car's cigarette lighter receptacle. The heating is now functioning.
The green LED illuminates. When the windscreen is deiced and dry, remove the plug from the cigarette lighter
receptacle.
The windscreen heating is equipped with an automatic thermostat. When the highest temperature has been
reached, the unit switches off and cools down. It automatically switches back on. The window heating's mode
of operation depends on the ambient temperature.
There is also an external 15-amp fuse for additional safety. This fuse is located next to the green LED.
If the heater does not function, pleaser first check the fuse and replace it if necessary (available from special-
ized dealers). Remove the windscreen heating when a sufficiently large visual area is present.
